To avoid reuse of disposable syringes,
scalp vein sets and infusion sets, we are following a very simple,
economical and least time consuming procedure. We use a wire cutter to
cut these disposables after use (for example, the edge of the syringe)
to prevent their re-use. This is a convenient method for practitioners
who cannot afford expensive equipment for this purpose.
