Medical Calculators: Online Tool for Pediatricians

Medical calculators can be used for patient care, researching solutions and keeping update. The calculators are available as webpages. You just need to fill up the forms online and get the results instantly. These calculators can also be integrated in the iphone, PDA by uploading the software from internet and synchronizing the mobile device with the computer.

md+calc (http://www. mdcalc.com/)This website has a wide range of calculators for all specialties e.g. pediatrics, critical care, gynecology, surgery and many more. Formulas to calculate A-aO2 gradient, APACHE II score, and calculating fluid infusion rates are available.

Cornell University (http://www-users.med. cornell.edu/~spon/picu/calc/index.htm#) A wide range of calculators is available on this site including the drip rate calculator, the fixed concentration medicated infusion calculators, oxygenation index and the pharmacokinetic simulator.
