Global Emerging Infections System - www.geis.ha.osd.mil/ This US government website provides news about outbreaks of infectious diseases from all parts of the world. Considering its current prominence, this website also contains a special page on SARS. APEC Emerging Infections network - www.apec.org/infectious/ This network monitors emerging infections from the Asia Pacific Economic cooperation forum, comprising countries in the Pacific rim, by providing timely information, data sharing and enabling better collaboration among member countries.
