British Association of Perinatal Medicine - www.bapm-london.org/ In addition to details about the organization the a newsletter and some of publications are available online. The publications available for free download include guidelines and position statements on various clinical issues in neonatology and perinatology.

Biology of the Neonate - http://www.karger.com/journals/bon/bon_jh.htm This peer reviewed journal on neonatology is published monthly by Krager. The abstracts and table of contents are available online since 1996 and a email delivery of table of contents is free, while the full text online is restricted to subscribers.

NeoReviews-http://neoreviews.aapjournal.org/ Neoreviews is a monthly collection on neonatal and perinatal medicine from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Though the full text of the journal is restricted to subscribers, some of the reviews and features are available for unrestricted download. (Fig 1)

This website provides a collection of systematic reviews on controversial topics in neonatology. The reviews have been conducted by the NICHD and the Cochrane Neonatal Collaborative Review Group. The website is a part of the National institute of child health and development, National Institutes of Health, USA.

This is a practical handbook for pediatric residents and is published from the neonatology division of the Johns Hopkins University. The previous edition 1999-2000 is also available online.

This is another practical guidebook for residents in pediatrics and neonatology from the Georgetown University. The guidebook includes practical points on ventilator management, surfactant administration, and fluid therapy and many other NICU topics.
