1. We did not examine the stool samples of study subjects. Probably, that’s why the incidence of worm infestation appeared less in our study. These 27 cases were those, where history of passage of worms was present.

2. None was suffering from clinical malaria, as no girl was febrile and/or having splenomegaly.

3. It was not our aim to study the severity of anemia.

4. We did not examine the peripheral smear for type of anemia.
